The Friends of the German-American Hall of Fame (GAMHOF) proudly announces the upcoming 2025 Induction Ceremony, scheduled for

Thursday, November 13, 2025,
at the Trump Tower Atrium in New York City.

This year, five outstanding German-Americans will be inducted to honor their lasting contributions to American culture, business, architecture, innovation, and democracy.

Friedrich Hecker (1811–1881)
Revolutionary Leader and Advocate for Democracy

Fred H. Langhammer
Global Business Leader,
 Chairman Global Affairs, Estée Lauder Companies

The Honorable William Hetzler
Civic and Community Leader, Cultural Ambassador

Helmut Jahn (1940–2021)
Architect known for his postmodern steel-and-glass structures

Walter Reinhold Schlage (1871–1946)
Inventor, Entrepreneur,  Founder of Schlage Lock Company

Created to honor and preserve the legacies of German immigrants and their descendants, the German-American Hall of Fame recognizes the achievements of leaders whose vision and dedication have shaped the United States. The Class of 2025 joins a distinguished list of past inductees who exemplify the creativity, leadership, and enduring spirit of the German-American community.

Each of these notable German Americans has made significant contributions to American life, exemplifying values of creativity, leadership, and cultural impact.
