Grant M. Lally, Esq.
Grant Lally is a successful attorney, businessman, and political leader. He is Managing Partner of Lally & Misir LLP, a New York City and Long Island-based international and business law firm; and is Principal of News Wire Publications, the publisher of a chain of influential daily electronic newspapers.
His legal clients include leading firms in the transportation, real property, media, education, environmental and engineering sectors. He has handled high profile cases and appeals, involving complex legal issues, international jurisdictional conflicts, and crisis and media management. Mr. Lally has worked with Heads of State, Government Ministers, CEOs of Fortune 500 companies, and appears regularly on radio and television. He is also a Solicitor in the Republic of Ireland, and in England & Wales.
Lally was the Republican nominee for the United States Congress in 1994 and 1996, in a nationally-targeted race, and signed the historic A Contract with America. During the 2000 Florida Recounts, Lally was the GOP Floor Manager of the critical Miami/Dade Presidential Recount, and a leader of the misnamed Brooks Brothers demonstration.
Lally serves on the Boards of the Plattduetsche Home Society, a senior citizen housing corporation on Long Island, NY founded by leading German-Americans by which he was named Man of The Year in 2009; the Emerald Isle Immigration Center, which works for immigrants; and the New York City German American Steuben Parade Committee.
Lally earned his B.A. from The Johns Hopkins University, in Baltimore, Maryland; his J.D. from Boston University, in Boston Massachusetts; and an LL.M. in International and Comparative Law from Georgetown University, in Washington, DC. He also studied at the European University Institute, in Florence, Italy.
