GERMAN-AMERICAN HALL OF FAME

COVID/Corona Virus

Posted: March 27, 2020

The Board of Trustees of the German-American Hall of Fame (GAMHOF) expresses prayerful solidarity with all people who have contracted the COVID/ Corona Virus, and with the thousands of cultural, ethnic and other non-profit organizations that have had their operations and services severely hampered or even halted.

Members of our immediate families have tested “positive” for the virus, so this is not an abstract discussion for us.

However, just as individuals who have always been working from home can weather this crisis better than employed in various other industries and settings, GAMHOF’s “web only” model enables us to continue operations as always. Our gamhof.org website is always available to long-time friends and new visitors alike, 24/7.

You can learn about the contributions of over 70 million Americans of German ancestry on our site, along with the exceptional achievements of the remarkable men and women who have been inducted into the German-American Hall of Fame.

Before long, we will be announcing new activities for GAMHOF in 2020, as well as a “new class” of inductees. Have an idea or suggestion for future inductees or projects for the GAMHOF? Write to us at info@gamhof.org .

Most of all, we at GAMHOF wish you and your loved ones good health and extend our hopes and prayers that we all weather this crisis as positively as possible.
