Fred H. Langhammer is a German-born American leader in the global business scene, with a notable career across multiple continents and industries. He currently serves as Chairman of Global Affairs at The Estée Lauder Companies Inc., having previously held roles as CEO and COO. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in transforming the company into a global leader in consumer products and cosmetics.
Mr. Langhammer has shared his expertise with some of the world’s leading corporations and institutions. He is currently a member of the Global Advisory Council at Bridge Growth Partners and serves on the Advisory Council of Clear Vue Partners in Shanghai. Additionally, he has held director positions at several well-known companies, including Inditex, The Gillette Company, RJR Nabisco, American International Group (AIG), The Shinsei Bank, and The Walt Disney Company.

He serves as Chairman Emeritus of the American-German Institute at Johns Hopkins University, is a Senior Fellow at the Foreign Policy Association, and actively takes part in the Munich Security Conference.
