GERMAN-AMERICAN HALL OF FAME

GAMHOF Mission

The German-American Hall of Fame inducts and presents German-Americans who have made outstanding contributions to the growth and development of the United States of America. Their values and virtues serve as ideals for the continued success of this great country.

“Adapt the best parts of the American spirit
and meld these with the best parts of the German spirit.”
– Carl Schurz

GAMHOF Vision

The vision of the German-American Hall of Fame is to inspire the younger generation with these success stories and ideals. By achieving their own American Dreams, they can serve as role models themselves.

It is also our vision that the German American Hall of Fame creates awareness and appreciation of German-American heritage and the immense contributions that German-Americans have made to the United States of America.

“Ideals are like stars; you will not succeed in touching them with your hands,
but like the seafaring man on the desert of waters, you choose them as your guides,
and following them, you reach your destiny.”

– Carl Schurz
